Eugene Harold Hetrick, 74, of Palmdale passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 in the Lebanon VA Medical Center.
Born March 31, 1942 in Hershey, he was a son of the late Earl and Emma (Rhoads) Hetrick.
Retired from Security at Hollywood Casino, he played in the PA Senior Softball League both slow and fast pitch. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served a tour in Greenland and on an Honor Guard Rifle Team. An avid Phillies fan, he also enjoyed fishing, bingo, and pinochle.
Surviving are his son Craig Hetrick (Cheryl) of Annville; daughter Roxanne Hollen (David) of Palmyra; sisters Doris Martin (Floyd) and Fern Shirk both of East Earl; grandchildren Casey Hetrick, Wesley Hetrick, Sarah Hollen, and Katie Hollen.
Military honors will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville preceded by a visitation from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra.
