I worked with Phil and Barb on many business and property transactions, dating to the early 1980's. Whether or not things were going well at the time, Phil's business judgment, essential fairness and, particularly, sense of humor never failed to shine through. He was truly exceptional, and will be missed by many.

Phil was a trusted adviser and more importantly, a good friend. He was one of the best businessmen I have had the honor to know.

Phil and Cam were our neighbors growing up on Foxcroft Drive in Lancaster. When I returned from the service in 1975 Phil offered me some work to help on their new farm in Conestoga. We spent many enjoyable days working on the house, taking care of the pets of the kids and even installing a swimming pool. After a short time, I started doing delivery's at Sir Speedy and stayed there until I returned to the military. Phil was a kind and father like figure to all. I am sorry I hadn't stayed in contact over the years, but the memories will always be there.

I met Phil when he opened his first Sir Speedy on the corner of Queen & Walnut streets in Lancaster back in the 70's. My husband was one of his first pressmen. Phil was such a kind man and devoted to his family. I am so sorry for you loss.

So sorry to hear of Phil's passing. I met Phil and Cam in the early 70's when they opened their Sir Speedy on N. Queen Street in Lancaster. I was their printing equipment sales rep that sold them several pieces of equipment. We go back a long way. They were not only one of my best customers, but very good friends! He will be missed.
