My condolences on Leonard's passing. I did not know him, however, he and my dad went to LP together and entered the recruiter's office at the same time. They proceeded to Camp Moxie together and were assigned to the 395th. From there they were sent to different companies never to serve together. Leonard went to Africa and Dad went to Europe. Dad saw Leonard's obituary and told me this story of their parallel service. We hope to honor Leonard on Tuesday evening. I sincerely hope that knowing your father's strength and service will help you to weather the coming days and weeks. Blessings.
