Stephen L. Slusser, Jr., 48, of Palmyra passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 at home.
Born February 14, 1968 in Bloomsburg, he was employed at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. A former member of the Union Deposit Volunteer Fire Department and member of the former Palmyra Jaycees, he enjoyed bowling and golfing. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Eagles, Phillies, and Hershey Bears.
Surviving are his father Stephen L. Slusser, Sr. of Palmyra; children Lucy J. Slusser and Stephen L. Slusser, III both of Grantville; mother of his children Brenda (Smith) Slusser of Grantville; siblings Richard W., husband of Mindy Slusser of Hummelstown, Daan J. Slusser of Palmyra, Jeffrey Z., husband of Vicki Winn of Bloomsburg, and Janie L. Smith of Hershey; companion Olivia; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Antoinette Maria (LaCombe) Slusser and step mother JoMarie Slusser.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 9:30 AM. Interment in New Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg.
