It was a pleasure to have served with "RAGS" both at Ft. Belvoir and On The Ice.

Bob touched my life in the late 1970s as he was staffing a for a maintenance outage project at Connecticut Yankee for NSS. I only knew him briefly back then but appreciated that he put enough faith in me - a somewhat recent Army Nuke School grad - to hire me. It put a needed boost in my annual income. I was still active duty military at the time. Though future regulations put a bind on my nuclear endeavors I have remained in power production operations for over 40 years. Condolences for the Garland family. No doubt Bob impacted many lives the same way. - Pat Cathers - Army NPPOC Class 76-2 and current power plant operator for the US Army Corps of Engineers.
