L. Craig Pheasant, 69, of Grantville passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at home surrounded by his family.
Born November 18, 1946 in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Walter J. and Cordelia E. (Fritz) Pheasant and also preceded in death by a sister Barbara J. Keiser.
Retired from the Pennsylvania State Treasury as a Computer Operations Manager, he had served in the PA National Guard. He was a member of Hanoverdale Church and the Falcon Club of America and the Keystone Chapter. He enjoyed hunting and boating, but especially loved his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of almost 45 years Patsy A. (Umbrell) Pheasant; children Michelle L. Pheasant of Hummelstown, Jennifer L., widow of David Kennedy of York, and Craig A., husband of Ashley Pheasant of Grantville; sister Patricia Van Scyoc of Palmyra; and eight grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 6, 2016 at Hanoverdale Church, 577 Hershey Road, Hummelstown preceded by a visitation from 9:30AM. Interment, with military honors, in Grantville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
