Eleanor L. Shay, 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Schuylkill East to join her Lord in heaven.
Born July 28, 1935 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Martha (Lehn) Barlett. After 50 years of marriage, she was the widow of her loving husband Maxwell P. Shay in July 2016 and was also preceded in death by a son Richard Shay.
Retired from the former Colebrook Terry, Inc., she attended Calvary Bible Church of Colebrook.
Surviving are her son Keith, husband of Sheila Shay of Manheim; sister Shirley Lowe of Hershey; grandchildren Zachary Shay, Olivia Shay, Jason Shay and companion Katie Miller, and Jeremy Shay; great granddaughter Brianna Shay.
A memorial service will be held 11:15 AM Sunday, March 19, 2017 at her church, 1380 Mount Wilson Road, Lebanon, PA 17042.
