Carol W. Spangler, 74, of Frey Village, Middletown passed away Wednesday November 4, 2015.
Born July 13, 1941 in Parma, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Steve and Winifred (Jaeger) Fabula.
She was formerly employed by McCoy Electronics, Mount Holly and was a member of Shells Evangelical Lutheran Church, Grantville. A talented artist skilled in china painting, she also enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are her husband of 27 years Henry M. Spangler; sons Adam A., husband of Elizabeth R. Donkus and Chris S. Donkus; sister Laurie Young; step-daughters Sandra K., wife of L. Barry Gish, Linda M., wife of Rick Blair, and Susan A., wife of George Stoltz; grandchildren Evan M. Donkus, Olivia R. Donkus, Cathleen G. Beecher, Catherine D. Donkus and Cole J. Donkus.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, November 15, 2015 at her church, 287 Shells Church Road, Grantville preceded by a visitation beginning at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110 or Shells Evangelical Lutheran Church, 287 Shells Church Road, Grantville, PA 17028.
