Carl P. Graehling, Jr., 82, of East Hanover Township, Dauphin County died Thursday, July 7, 2016 at his home.
Born March 9, 1934 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Carl P. Graehling, Sr. and Irene (Marshall) Nauss and was also preceded in death by his sister Virginia Brown.
A retired truck driver, he was a U. S. Navy veteran and plank owner serving on the USS Saratoga CVA-60.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years Carol Obermeier; children Carilynn Graehling Frye and husband D. Michael of Mechanicsburg, Carl P. “Gus” Graehling, III of Harrisburg, Steven Graehling of Harrisburg, Timothy Graehling of Harrisburg, Cynthia Graehling of Mechanicsburg and Amanda Graehling Morrissey and husband Patrick of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Per Carl’s request there will be no service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
