William L. Buck

William L. Buck, 80, of Myerstown passed away Monday, January 22, 2024.

Born June 15, 1943 in Hershey, he was a son of the late Louis A. and Ruth L. (Shuey) Buck and widower of Carolyn P. (Winne) Buck since January 2017.  He was also preceded in death by a brother Robert Lee Buck and sister Ruth Anna Buck.

Retired from Northern Lebanon School as a speech and language therapist, he attended Mount Aetna Bible Church.  Bill fostered over 100 children, hosted exchange students from Asia, Europe and South America, cared for mentally challenged individuals, and was an avid gardener and farmer.

Surviving are his sons Thomas T., husband of Sandy Buck, William D., husband of Gwen Buck, and Jason D., husband of Cheryl Buck all of Myerstown; sister Mary J., wife of Robert Lehman of Campbelltown; fifteen grandchildren; and two great granddaughters.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, January 25, 2024 at his church, 11 North Chestnut Street, Mount Aetna.  Viewings 5:00 – 7:00 PM Wednesday at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra and 9:00 – 10:00 AM Thursday at the church.  Interment in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
