Obituary
William John Lorwey, 73, of Harrisburg passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023.
Born August 30, 1949 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late James and Evelyn (Kramer) Lorwey and widower of Helen Ann (Orlowsky) Lorwey since January 2019. He was also predeceased by James Jay Lorwey, his brother.
A graduate of Central Dauphin East High School and Harrisburg Area Community College, Bill was a US Army veteran, a former Swatara Township Police officer, and a retired Supervisory Agent with the PA Board of Probation and Parole.
Surviving is Bill’s faithful companion, Paco, his sister Bonnie Lorwey of Enola, daughter Kelly Bechtel of Louisiana, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces. Also surviving are his sister-in-law Janice Lewis (Rich) of Harrisburg, brother-in-law Paul Orlowsky (Shirley) of Newville and their families.
An interment service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
