Wanda G. Rice

Wanda G. Rice, 70, of Chambers Hill passed away Friday, August 1, 2025.

Born March 17, 1955 at Bryan Air Force Base, Texas, she was a daughter of Irene (Bonat) Rice of Harrisburg and the late Elmer James Rice.  Wanda was also preceded in death by her brother Wayne Rice and sister Cherie Rice.

She was a former employee of Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Hershey Medical Center.  The primary caregiver for her mother for many years, Wanda was a great cook and loved her canine companion Lucy.

Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her brother Stanley Rice of Nipomo, California, three nieces and three great nieces.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Hillsdale Cemetery, Middletown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Harrisburg Humane Society, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
