Sylvia D. Fisher, 79, of Palmyra passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at home.
Born June 19, 1945 in Hershey, she was a daughter of the late LeRoy and Thelma (Galebaugh) Lingle and also preceded in death by her sister Sonja Oltean.
Sylvia retired as a Senior Administrative Assistant from Hershey Entertainment and was a lifetime member of Shells Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed travelling, especially to Myrtle Beach, but most important to her was spending time with family and friends. Fun loving and the life of the party, Sylvia always had a smile and laugh.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years Herbert J. Fisher; daughters Michelle Weidler (Glenn) and Diane Elliott (Edward); and grandson Jared Weidler (Ashley).
A Service of Christian Faith will be held 11:30 AM Saturday, September 7, 2024 at her church, 287 Shells Church Road, Grantville preceded by a visitation from 10:00 – 11:30 AM. Interment, at the convenience of the family, in Shells Cemetery, at a future date.
