Susan M. Mundy Obituary
Susan Mary (Ashman) Mundy, 72, formerly of East Hanover Township, Dauphin County passed away at 4:49 PM on Sunday, May 9, 2021.
Sue was born on November 9, 1948 in Sellsersville, PA to the late Gerald T. Ashman and Mary B. (Mayer) Ashman. She was predeceased by her brothers, Leonard and Gerald Ashman.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Charles R. Mundy; daughter, Jennifer L. Ruth, husband, Raymond O. Ruth, III and two grandchildren, Aiden and Alexandria; son, Scott G. Mundy and wife, Lee Anne Mundy; along with many nieces and nephews.
Sue graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School and the Franklin Institute of Technology. She was an x-ray technician early on and retired in 2008 from The Hershey Pantry. Sue was the neighborhood bird, animal, reptile rescue go-to person. She was quick with a quip and could always make you laugh. She loved her dogs, blue birds, the Hershey Bears, rug hooking, tole painting, flower gardening and flower arranging, and playing her mandolin.
A private interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
