Sidney M. Herr, 80, of Palmyra passed away Monday, August 16, 2021.
Born July 5, 1941 in East Hanover Township, Lebanon County, she was a daughter of the late Ammon and Eva Mae (Albert) Hicksenheiser and also preceded in death by her sister Patricia Ann Vines.
A former employee of Hershey Foods Corporation, she was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Palmyra and loved antiques.
Surviving are her husband of almost 63 years Herman H. Herr; daughters Wendy Lynn Peters (Charles) of Lebanon and Lori Ann Cassel (Michael) of Harrisburg; brothers Larry Hicksenheiser (Geraldine) of Annville and Ernest Hicksenheiser (Brenda) of Campbelltown; grandchildren Kyle Herr and Amanda Blatt; and nephews Shaun, Timothy, and Tyler.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 20, 2021 at her church, 40 West Pine Street, Palmyra with interment in Zion Cemetery, Grantville. Viewings 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday and 10:00 – 11:00 AM Friday both at the church.
