Shirley Denise (Weitzel) Dowhower

Shirley Denise Dowhower of Londonderry Township passed away Friday, June 20, 2025, on her 72nd birthday.

Born June 20, 1953 in Roaring Spring, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Marjorie (Holland) Weitzel and also preceded in death by a brother Randall Weitzel.

Retired from the State of Pennsylvania, she loved the Lord, reading her Bible, and her dog.  Denise enjoyed family gatherings, the outdoors, camping, traveling, and gardening, both flowers and vegetables.

Surviving are her husband of 25 years Bradley S. Dowhower; son Christopher (Katie) Weitzel of Bedford; brothers Richard Weitzel (Barbara) and Terry Weitzel (Joy); half brother Luke Bowser; and grandson Silas Weitzel.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
