Sandra J. (Knott) Sattazahn

Sandra J. Sattazahn, 65, of Hummelstown passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024.

Born February 25, 1959 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of Mary (Garrison) Carey of Palmyra and the late Walter “Don” Knott.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Michael A. Poling in October 2003, daughter Nichole L. Beers, and sister Donna Tomes.

She loved the beach and spending time with her family, but her pride and joy was her granddaughter Gracie.

In addition to her mother, Sandra is survived by husband Joseph A. Sattazahn; daughter Jennifer Poling of Hummelstown; siblings Mary Ann Chavey (Bob) of State College, Ron Knott (Sue) of Hershey, Mike Knott of Harrisburg, and Lisa Siegfried (Edward) of Mechanicsburg; granddaughter Grace-Lynne M. Poling; stepchildren Todd Poling, Carrie Robinson, and Samuel Sattazahn; five step grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, November 29, 2024 at Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, 335 East Areba Avenue, Hershey preceded by a viewing from 2:00 PM.  Private interment in Spring Creek Cemetery.
