Samuel A. Brightbill, Jr., 77, of Palmyra passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
Born December 16, 1946 in Lebanon, he was a son of the late Samuel A., Sr. and Katherine (Rausch) Brightbill and also preceded in death by his sister Katherine Lingle.
Retired from Alcoa, Lebanon, Sam attended Encounter Church, Palmyra and was a lifetime member of Citizens Fire Company #1, Palmyra. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and member of the Palmyra Sportsmen’s Association and the NRA.
Surviving are his wife of 56 years Marilyn “Kay” (Shifflett) Brightbill; daughters Jodi Brightbill of Palmyra and Kristi Bowers (Wes) of Annville; brothers Harold Brightbill (Lana) of Palmyra and George Brightbill (Nancy) of Lebanon; and grandchildren Alyson Burnham (Dawson) of Middletown and Christian Floyd of Annville.
A memorial service will be held 1:30 PM Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a visitation from 12:30 PM. Interment, with military honors, in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
