Ruthann (Hostetter) Plessinger

Ruthann Plessinger, 86, formerly of North Londonderry Township, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Traditions of Hershey, Palmyra.

Born April 4, 1940 in Bellegrove, she was a daughter of the late Grant and Dorothy M. (Winters) Hostetter.  After 64 years of marriage, she was the widow of Kenneth M. Plessinger, Sr. since November 2020 and also preceded in death by a son Keith A. Plessinger, Sr.

Ruthann was a member of Community Bible Church, Palmyra.

Surviving are her children Kenneth M., Jr., husband of Barbara Plessinger, Kevin G., husband of Jana Plessinger and Kathy L., wife of Dennis Hickernell; sister Nancy Bishop and partner Dennis Meck; grandchildren Mary, Kenneth, III, Jessica, Alicia, Keith, Jr., Stephen, Heather and Nicholas; numerous great grandchildren; great great grandchildren and feline companions Joe Paw and Molly.

A funeral will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 10:00 AM.  Interment in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 150 North Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
