Ruth W. Shearer Obituary
Ruth W. Shearer, 75, of North Londonderry Township, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
Born February 23, 1946 in Newton, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Warren W. and Dorothy E. (Blouch) Weik. Ruth was also preceded in death by a son Todd E. Shearer in 1969 and sisters Eileen Adams and Shirley Tice.
Ruth previously worked for Olmsted Air Force Base, Indiantown Gap, Lebanon VA Medical Center, PA Diagnostic Imaging and Dr. Marrone Family Medicine before retiring as a medical secretary from Annville Family Medicine, Annville.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years Gary R. Shearer, daughter Beth G. Shearer and sister Susan Hite.
A funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
