Ruth M. Royer, 81, of Palmyra passed away Friday, January 12, 2024.
Born August 18, 1942 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Anna (Musser) Lindsey and was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Ruth retired from Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, Palmyra and partnered with Overseas Missionary Fellowship, Lancaster for 10 years. She was a 1959 graduate of William Penn High School and member of Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, Palmyra.
Surviving are her husband of 64 years Joseph M. Royer; children Kenneth M. Royer (Terri), Tammy R. Templin (Donald) and Keith M. Royer (Tina); siblings Dessie Freeze, Rosemary Bostwick (John), Gaybrielle Wenner, Virginia Wolfe, Amy Stover (Michael), James Lindsey, and Donald Lindsey; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, January 19, 2024 at her church, 131 Gravel Hill Road, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Midway Cemetery, Lebanon.
