Ruth E. (Michaels) Vogt

Ruth E. Vogt, 86, of Steelton passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025 at home.

Born June 29, 1939 in Williamstown, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Ruth (Pennell) Michaels and widow of Robert W. Vogt, Sr. since January 2013.  She was also preceded in death by a son Robert “Bobby” Vogt, Jr. and siblings Betty Allen, Earl Michaels, and John Michaels.

Surviving are her daughters Victoria L. Vogt and April M., wife of Jamey Aurand; sister Delores Myers; grandson Ryan “Ike” Moore-Vogt; nieces and nephews.

Ruth enjoyed watching and feeding birds that came to visit her.  She liked to read and write, especially the cards she lovingly sent to friends and family.  A kind and generous woman with a heart of gold, she will be greatly missed by all her friends and loved ones.

A graveside service will be held 2:30 PM Friday, September 19, 2025 at Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
