Russell J. Grubb, 102, of Palmyra passed away Friday, October 31, 2025.
Born March 10, 1923 in Linglestown, he was a son of the late Wilmer E. and Hattie M. (Gibble) Grubb.
He retired from the Farm Loan Agri Division of the Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States. A 1950 graduate of Penn State University, Russell was a lifelong member of Palmyra Church of the Brethren and a World War II Army veteran serving in North Africa and Italy.
Surviving are his wife of 32 years Martha E. (Gerlach) Greiner Grubb; sons Barry L. Grubb (Kathy) of Lutherville-Timonium, MD and Wendell D. Grubb (Jean) of Vineland, NJ; daughter Renee J. McGiboney (Preston) of Rancocas, NJ; brother Carl L. Grubb; step sons Barry Greiner and Mark Greiner; step daughter Tina Bomgardner; three grandchildren; one great grandson; and step grandchildren.
He was the widow of Evelyn L. (Delp) Grubb since 1984 and also preceded in death by brothers Kenneth Grubb and Wilmer Grubb and sister Ora Jane Rhoads.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the DiMatteo Worship Center, 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra preceded by a visitation starting at 10:00 AM. Private interment in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund, Londonderry Village, 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra, PA 17078.
