Russell D. Boozel, 86, of South Londonderry Township, Lebanon County passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at home.
He was born October 27, 1933 in McVeytown RD, a son of the late Emanuel and Eva Mae (College) Boozel. The widower of Donna (Starr) Boozel since 2005, he was the last of his immediate family being preceded in death by his three brothers and six sisters.
A retired mechanic/equipment operator from IUOE Local 542, District 4, he was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Campbelltown American Legion Post 831, Brownstone Lodge 666 F. & A.M., Zembo Shrine, and Harrisburg Consistory. Russell frequented the Filling Station in Palmyra and loved motorcycles, especially Harley-Davidsons.
Surviving are his daughters Melinda “Mindy” Weaber of Annville and Melody “Dee,” wife of Daniel Thomas of South Londonderry Township; granddaughters Amber LoPinto and Brandy Stoessel; and great grandchildren Kamryn, Zoe, Jordan, Greyson, and JJ.
A viewing will be held 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra followed by a graveside service at 1:00 PM in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
