Roy U. Boltz, Jr.

Roy U. Boltz, Jr., 90, formerly of Campbelltown passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 in StoneRidge Towne Centre, Myerstown.

Born October 16, 1932 in Palmyra, he was the son of the late Roy U., Sr. and Mary K. (Ayers) Boltz.  After almost 60 years of marriage, Roy was the widower of Gayle K. (Kimmel) Boltz since April 2014 and also preceded in death by sisters Jane Risser and Janet Lily.

Retired from Kraft Foods, Palmyra, he was a member of Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, Palmyra and a Korean War Air Force veteran.

Surviving are his children Steven R., husband of Grace Boltz of Mount Wolf, Shellaine M., wife of John Reist of Palmyra, and Douglas C., husband of Tawn Boltz of Palmyra; sister Mary R. Rakosky of Myerstown; granddaughters Sarah (Zach), Julia, Rachel, and Madison; great-granddaughter Hadley; step grandchildren Stevie and Amanda; step great grandchildren Brittany, Jorden, Loren, Joshua, Brenna, and Caleb; and step great great grandchildren Dalaina, Claire, Harper, Lucas, Grayson and Hazel.

Private interment, with military honors, will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
