Roy L. Geesaman Obituary
Roy L. Geesaman, 78, of West Hanover Township passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021.
Born March 27, 1943 in Hershey, he was a son of the late Harold W. and Esther M. (Basehore) Geesaman.
Roy retired from Shaffer Trucking and served in the PA National Guard. A Hershey High School graduate, he attended the Hershey Industrial School in carpentry. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, puzzles, and crossword puzzles. Roy never sat still but was always doing something.
Surviving are his wife Milimar A. Geesaman; son Ryan S. Geesaman of West Hanover Township; and siblings Miriam E., wife of Ralph Ackerman of Bethel, Connie J., wife of Rodney Teets of Hummelstown, and Harold D., husband of Cindy Lou Geesaman of Palmyra.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Hanoverdale Church, 577 Hershey Road, Hummelstown preceded by a viewing from 9:30 AM. Interment in the adjoining Hanoverdale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
