Roy D. Deimler

Roy D. Deimler, 77, formerly of Hoernerstown passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 in Ridgeview Healthcare Center, Shenandoah.

Born October 13, 1942 in Swatara Township, he was a son of the late David R. and Elsie K. (Forney) Deimler and also preceded in death by brothers Martin L. Deimler, Richard L. Deimler, Raymond F. Deimler and Warren E. Deimler.

He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Shellsville V. F. W. #9639.  Roy enjoyed hunting, trapping, and fixing cars.

Surviving are his brothers John D. Deimler, Ray R. Deimler and Charles E. Deimler; sisters Ethel Crowell, Sara Loye and Ruth Espenshade; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, January 31, 2020 in Chambers Hill Cemetery, Chambers Hill and Cockley Roads, Harrisburg.
