Ronald L. Hofsass

Ronald L. Hofsass, 78, of Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County and formerly of Mechanicsburg, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025.

Born July 28, 1946 in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Russell and Erma (Conner) Hofsass.

Retired as a printer, Ron served with the U. S. Army Reserves, was a member of Shepherdstown United Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg and a former member of the Harrisburg Pigeon Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid Penn State football fan.

Surviving are his wife of 59 years Doris D. “Dale” (Dodrer) Hofsass; son Ken Hofsass (Britt Murphy) of Seattle, Washington; daughter Lori Livingston (Steve Cavrich) of Etters; brothers Ray Hofsass (Kathy) and Doug Hofsass (Pat); and five grandchildren.

A private family gathering will be held with interment in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
