Ronald E. Sechrist

Ronald E. Sechrist, 88, formerly of Palmyra passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Country Meadows of Hershey.

Born March 27, 1937, he was the son of the late Myers J. and Mildred (Harkins) Sechrist and after 62 years of marriage, the widower of Joann L. (Witmer) Sechrist since February 2021.

Ronald was a former mechanic for Earl B. Lehman Lincoln Mercury and retired from Hershey Country Club.  A member of Chocolate Workers Union Local 464, he enjoyed working as a crew member in the pit for the Earl B. Lehman racecar and was an avid matchbox and toy collector.

Surviving are his daughters Sharon, wife of David Siegfried and Kathy, wife of Brian Adams; son Eric Sechrist; grandchildren Amanda Siegfried and Jared Adams. 

A private family gathering will be held with burial in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
