Rodney L. Boyer

Rodney L. Boyer, 75, of Mount Pleasant Mills passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at home.

Born June 10, 1948 in Milroy, he was a son of the late Lee Boyer and Ada R. (Nale) Boyer Gray and also preceded in death by a son Sean C. Boyer.

A retired System Analyst from the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare, he was a Vietnam U.S. Air Force veteran and member of the NRA.  Rod loved hunting, fishing, and target shooting.

Surviving are his wife of 31 years Roxanne J. (Teahl) “Pixie” Boyer; sons Chad L. Boyer at home and Jeremy R. Hess of Freeburg; brother Larry E. Boyer of Reading; sister Sharon L. Roberts of Reedsville; and grandchildren Christopher Boyer and Madison Boyer both of Harrisburg.

Private interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Freeburg.
