Robert R. Kohr

Robert R. Kohr, 91, of Elizabethtown and formerly of South Hanover Township, Dauphin County passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025.

Born July 29, 1933 in Lebanon County, he was a son of the late Grant and Anna (Hossler) Kohr and the widower, after 54 years of marriage, of Mary E. Kohr since July 2007.  Bob was also preceded in death by siblings Ella Boger, Paul Kohr and Glenn Kohr.

Retired from Hershey Foods as a millwright, he was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church, Palmyra and Hummelstown Field and Stream. A great storyteller, he was an avid golfer and liked to hunt, fish and trap.

Surviving are his son William R. Kohr of Middletown; daughter Nancy M. Hitz (Jacob) of Elizabethtown; brothers Charlie Kohr (Marilyn) and David Kohr (Jackie); granddaughters Perla M. Berry (Steve) and Elizabeth Hitz; great grandchildren Sophia Berry, Gavin Berry and Brooklynne Blake. 

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 29, 2025 at First Evangelical Congregational Church, 55 West Main Street, Palmyra preceded by a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.  Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
