Robert M. Longenecker

Robert M. Longenecker, 81, of North Londonderry Township passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022.

Born July 12, 1940 in Lebanon, he was a son of the late Elwood and Effie (Bliestine) Longenecker.  Bob was also preceded in death by a daughter Gigi Monique Johnson and beloved shorthair Reba.

He formerly owned Robert Longenecker & Son Building Contractor, was a U.S. Army veteran, and member of the Palmyra Rotary Club and Campbelltown American Legion.  He also raised and raced harness horses.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years Karen J. (Bordlemay) Longenecker; son Robert Longenecker, Jr. (Cathy) of Palmyra; daughter Kim Felty (Randy) of Annville; sister Carol Derr (Robert) of Palmyra; brother Carl Longenecker (Melody) of Palmyra; grandchildren Mandy Klinger (Chad), Brandy Arnold (Chris), Gerald Schott (Stacey), Jordan Evans (Elsie), Robert Gonzalez (fiancé Stephanie), Christie Smith (Kyle), and Brianna Johnson; sixteen great grandchildren; shorthair Jasmine; and many friends.

Private interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
