Robert L. Albright, 66, of Hershey, PA, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024. He was the husband of Roxann (Peters) Albright, with whom he celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary on June 26th, 2024.
Born November 19, 1958, in Hershey, he was a son of Carolyn (Miller) Albright of Hershey and the late Robert L. Albright.
Bob was the owner of Bob Albright Motors (BAM), a precision machining and racing engine shop based in Hershey. Using his skillset that he developed over a 45+ year career, he passionately served his customers by designing, manufacturing and building one-of-a-kind racing engines and components. He could often be seen on Friday and Saturday nights at local micro sprint tracks, Linda’s and Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway (Lanco), supporting customers and tuning engines. His work was widely recognized, and he was referred to by many as one of the best in his industry.
Following his graduation from Hershey High School in 1976, Bob began his career as a machinist at Long’s Machine and Tool in Bellegrove. He later transitioned into the machine tool sales & service industry with Maruka USA, Inc. out of Rockaway, NJ. He also spent many years working at Plouse Machine, Inc. in Highspire as a lathe department supervisor.
He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Campbelltown. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family, especially their vacations to the Outer Banks and weekends spent at motocross races in their RV.
Surviving, in addition to his mother and wife, are; son Aaron M. Albright (Janelle); stepdaughters Jamie M. Esser (John), Valerie A. Sheaffer and Renee L. Bordlemay (Kevin); brother Jeffrey A. Albright; two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and the family dog, Sprocket.

· E. E. Manny Murry Center (IPC Center) in Mount Joy during the last week of Bob’s life.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday January 11, 2025, at Salem United Church of Christ, 2761 Horseshoe Pike, Campbelltown preceded by a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.
