Robert H. Sweigart

Robert H. Sweigart, 86, of Frey Village, Middletown, and formerly of Pine Grove, passed away Monday, November 25, 2019.

Born November 15, 1933 in McVeytown, he was the son of the late Harry H. and Sue H. (Hill) Sweigart and also preceded in death by his sister Lauretta Jordan.

Retired Division Chief of Computer Operations for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, Bob was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and member of P.A.R.S.E. and St. John’s United Methodist Church, Grantville.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years Anna Mae “Daisy” (Powell) Sweigart; daughters Melissa A. Knight of Florence, Arizona and Marsha S. Stepler of Harrisburg; grandchildren Glenn Stone Laverty, IV and Janis Lynn Raup; and great granddaughter Tessa Laverty.

A graveside service, with military honors, will be held 10:30 AM Friday, November 29, 2019 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
