Richard L. "Z" Zern Obituary

Richard L. “Z” Zern, 70, of Palmyra passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022.

Born October 12, 1952 in Hershey, he was a son of the late Samuel L., Sr. and Mary J. (Weit) Zern and also preceded in death by his brother Samuel L. “Butch” Zern, Jr.

Retired from Hershey Foods Corporation, he was a 1971 graduate of Annville Cleona High School. Living in Palmyra most of his life, “Z” as he was known around town, loved animals, especially feeding the squirrels.

Surviving are his sisters Sandra F. Rhoads and Darlene K. Shuey; several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

Private graveside service and burial will be in Ebenezer Greenwood Cemetery, Lebanon.
