Ralph R. Hetrick

Ralph R. Hetrick, 76, of Mount Wilson passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023 at home.

Born December 5, 1946 in Lebanon, he was a son of the late Leroy M., Sr. and Dora (Eisenhour) Hetrick.  The widower of Florence M. (Weaber) Hetrick since September 2017, after almost 51 years of marriage, he was also preceded in death by a brother Larry Hetrick.

Ralph was a farmer before joining the Army during the Vietnam War.  Following the war, he worked for Kraft Foods and later retired from a job that he enjoyed as a truck driver.  He was a member of Palmyra VFW.

Surviving are his daughters Jessie M. Hank of Palmyra and Lisa A. Sonder (Ron) of Mount Wilson; grandchildren Mikaela M. Hank of New York and Tyler E. Sonder of Mount Wilson; siblings Leroy Hetrick, Jr., of Palmyra, Irene Witman of Elizabethtown, Doris Ierley of Middletown, Lavina Uplinger of Annville, Pat Wolfe of Lebanon, Marion Huntzberger of Elizabethtown and Donna Heisey of Palmyra; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, April 21, 2023 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 9:00 AM.  Interment in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Colebrook.
