Rachel Lorene (Wine) Stover

Rachel Lorene Stover, 81, went to her heavenly home on December 13, 2025. She was a devoted and loving mother, wife, sister, and daughter, and will forever be remembered for her kind heart, sweet smile, and giving nature. She attended Encounter Church of Palmyra.

Rachel was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin George and Hazel Wine; her husband of 51 years, George Stover; 12 beloved brothers and sisters; and son-in-law, Herb Fogleman Jr.

She is survived by her brother, James Wine (Tammy) of Syracuse, IN; sister-in-law, Ann Wine of Parish, FL; children, Judy Fogleman, Scott Miller (Tammy), Cris Christ (Ed), Todd Miller, Micki Miller, and Melissa Ries (Christopher); grandchildren, Casey Crawford (Brice), Kyle Miller (Michaela), Anna Hoy, Zachary Fogleman (Tierney Bechtel), Ellie Seavers, Tyler Miller, Ian Fogleman (Erin Schupper), Kaila Miller, Katie Miller, Emma Ries, Luc Ries, Alysa Mease (Derrick), Lance Fogleman, and Elizabeth Fogleman; along with her great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Rachel was an H.B. Reese retiree after 24 years of service and loved to spend her retirement making beautiful embroidered cards. She will be remembered for her amazing cooking, the beautiful recipe books and scrapbooks she made for everyone she loved, and the best chocolate chip cookies ever made. She had a true servant’s heart and loved her large family so very much.

A viewing will be held 12:30 – 1:15 PM Thursday, December 18, 2025 followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM at Encounter Church of Palmyra, 220 Campbelltown Road, Palmyra.  Interment in Gingrich Mennonite Cemetery, Lebanon.
