Phyllis E. Carnes, 100, formerly of Brookfield Road, Harrisburg passed away Monday, November 28, 2022.

Born August 24, 1922 in Bainbridge, New York, she was a daughter of the late Carmine and Marietta (Fazzone) Caracciolo and widow of John E. Carnes since September 1990.

She retired from the Patriot News, was PA State Coordinator of the National League of POW/MIA Families and a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Harrisburg.

Private interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, 2848 Herr Street, Harrisburg, PA 17103.
