Phyllis A. (Vonada) Weikel

Phyllis A. Weikel, 84, of Hershey passed away Friday, October 24, 2025 in her home.

Born August 26, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Milton C. and Mary Ruth (Grimm) Vonada and was the widow of Robert H. “Soupbone” Weikel since May 1995.  Phyllis was also preceded in death by infant daughter Denise Faye Weikel and was the last of her immediate family being preceded in death by siblings Charles Vonada, Pearl Vonada, Florence Reddinger, John Vonada and Betty Noble.

She retired from Hershey Foods Corporation with 36 years of service.

Surviving are her son Brian L. Weikel (Tammy) of Duncannon; daughters Robin L. W. Yeingst (Robert) and Crystal L. Weikel both of Hershey; grandchildren Jory Weikel (Rana),  Jarrod Weikel (Tammy), Haleigh Yeingst and Austin Yeingst; nine great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing beginning at 10:00 AM.  Interment will be in Hershey Cemetery.
