Paul G. Bowman

Paul G. Bowman, 76, of Newport passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at home.

Born May 13, 1949 in Kwajalein, Marshall Islands, he was a son of the late Fred H. and Ina (Belle) Bowman and also preceded in death by his brothers Ray Bowman and Micky Bowman.

Retired from the Hawaiian Electric, Paul was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and member of the VFW and American Legion.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years Peggy J. (Yordy) Bowman and nephews Dan Bowman of Oklahoma and Tim Morley of Texas.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Buse Funeral Home, 9066 Jonestown Road, Grantville preceded by a viewing from 10:00 AM.  Interment, with military honors, will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
