Patricia G. "Patti" (Carrigan) Jones

It was Sunday morning on June 5th, 2022 at 11:20 am that God called Patti to be beyond the earthly world. At her side with her was her husband, of 65 years, Elmer Jones.

Patti was the daughter of Charles Carrigan II of Niagara Falls, New York and Louise Williams. After the death of Charles at young age, Patti and her mother moved to Gerardville in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Patti grew up and graduated from Gerardville High School. On February 8th, 1958 she met her husband Elmer Jones and they were married.

She was the mother of two daughters, Elizabeth Fair who lives in Alva, Florida and Kimberly Jones who preceded her in death. She was also the grandmother of Kendell Jones and Carrigan Gray and a great grandmother to Lincoln Jones and Sloan Gray.

Patti’s life was full of fun and adventure. As the children grew and left home, Patti and her husband Elmer spent their life motorcycle riding around the United States and Central Europe. Owning their own small airplane, they flew down the east coast of the US. Their adventure started in Portland, Maine down and ended at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Patti and Elmer made the most of this adventure by stopping at other cities and states along the way.

Elmer’s last words to Patti were “Live in the sunshine, swim in the sea, and drink the wild air of heaven. I loved you then, I love now, I will love you forever”.

A viewing will be held 10:00 – 11:30 AM Monday, June 13, 2022 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra.  Private interment in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
