Norma J. Stone, 66, of North Londonderry Township, Lebanon County passed away Friday, January 24, 2020.
Born March 14, 1953 in Hershey, she was a daughter of Della (Wright) Reeder of Harrisburg and the late John Reeder.
Retired as a lab technician from The Hershey Company, she later worked in merchandising and for ISN doing inspections for food stamp stores. She was a 1971 graduate of Palmyra High School and attended Millersville University. Norma was an officer and worked for Tri-County Boat Club, played keyboard and rhythm guitar in bands with her husband and was a social member of Palmyra American Legion #72. Spending time on their pontoon boat in the Susquehanna River and at Ocean City, Maryland, time at Cape Hatteras beach, camping, travelling, baking, crocheting, square dancing and spending time at Camp Buck, the camp in Perry County that her grandfather help start, were some of her favorite times. But the joy of her life was her family and especially her grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband of 45 years Luther W. “Chip” Stone; children Brandy Stone, Melissa Stone and Andrew Stone; brother David Reeder (Joyce Anderson); grandchildren Jonathan Stone, Brianna Baker, Calvin Day, Hazel Day and Virginia Day; and six nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a visitation from 3:00 PM.
