Nancy C. (Myers) Esbenshade Gochenaur

Nancy C. Esbenshade Gochenaur, 93, of York and formerly of Dillsburg passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025.

Born February 27, 1932 in Lebanon County, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Ruth (Royer) Myers and widow of Wayne J. Esbenshade, Sr. and Harold Gochenaur.  She was the last of her immediate family, having also been preceded in death by siblings Sara Cherel, Esther Miller, Richard Myers, Donald Myers, Lee Myers, and Edward Myers, as well as a great granddaughter.

A member of Zion United Methodist Church, Dillsburg, Nancy is survived by a son Wayne Esbenshade, Jr. (Dodie) of Dover; daughter Wanda J. Zeigler (Jay) of Northumberland; grandchildren Kami Link (John), Joseph Esbenshade (Tammy), Shelly Smyser (Brian), Bradley Zeigler (Angela), Flint Zeigler (Jana), and Annie Zepeda (Richard); 14 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a viewing from 9:00 AM.  Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
