Myrna C. (Leffler) Royer

Myrna Corinne Leffler Royer, age 91, of Palmyra, PA and formerly of Lebanon, PA passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 in Londonderry Village, Palmyra, PA.  Born in Reistville, PA on February 7, 1930, Myrna was the daughter of the late Mary King Leffler and John Layser Leffler. She was a 1948 graduate of Schaefferstown High School.

Myrna was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Melvin G. Royer, and brothers, King and Carlos Leffler.  Myrna retired from the J.C. Penney Catalog Department in Lebanon, PA.  Myrna enjoyed boating and fishing at Lewes, DE, bowling, water aerobics, and pinochle.  She was a member of Lebanon Church of the Brethren and was active in the Women’s Fellowship.

Myrna is survived by her loving family: daughter, Sandra Royer Gamler and her husband Gary of Sinking Spring, PA and their daughter Erin Macejack (Scott) and son Aiden of Bel Air, MD; daughter, Barbara Royer Bucks of Lebanon, PA and her son James Bucks (Terri), grandchildren Devin Bucks( Anya) of Jonestown, PA, Tori Bucks (partner Scott) of Lebanon PA and AJ Gerhart (Taylor) of Jonestown, PA; and son, Harry Royer and his wife Kathy of Lebanon, PA and stepdaughter Kristan Reed (Jason) and children Dylan and Logan of Myerstown, PA and stepson Kody Klick (Katie) and sons Soren and Wilder of Berlin, MD.

A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra.  Private interment in Heidelberg Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Reistville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Good Samaritan Fund, Londonderry Village, 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra, PA 17078.
