Mildred C. (Carroll) Rider

Mildred C. Rider, 95, of Elizabethtown and formerly of Hummelstown passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022.

Born May 15, 1926 in Hummelstown, she was a daughter of the late Roger Samuel and Bertha Agnes (Miller) Carroll and also predeceased by daughter Kathy Jane.  The last of her immediate family, Millie was preceded in death by siblings Harry Carroll, Kathryn Lyter, Alma Carroll, Ethel Stare, Bertha Mattern, Caroline Kotter, William Carroll, Jane Alwine, Roger Carroll and Adeline Koons.

She attended Hummelstown High School and was formerly employed by Press Dress Factory and Hershey Free Church, but most importantly she was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving are her husband of 75 years Paul King Rider, Sr.; children Sandra R. Daniels (Richard), Paul K. Rider, Jr. (Patricia) and Ted A. Rider, Sr.; grandsons Ted A. Rider, Jr. and Daniel Jacob Rider (Heather); and great grandson Benjamin James Rider.

Burial in Hummelstown Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
