Melvin P. Shenk

Melvin P. Shenk, 82, of West Hanover Township passed away Monday, February 22, 2021 at home.

Born August 12, 1938 in Hershey, he was a son of the late Raymond S. and Violette I. (Cassel) Shenk and also preceded in death by brothers Cassel Shenk and Ellis Shenk.

A self employed insurance agent, he was owner of the former Shenk’s Insurance Agency, Grantville.  Mel was a member of Hanoverdale Church and U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by four nieces, seven nephews and their families.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, March 1, 2021 at his church, 577 Hershey Road, Hummelstown preceded by a visitation from 10:00 AM.  Private interment in Grantville Cemetery.  The service will be streamed at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85908382033
