Mary Ellen Wagner Obituary
Mary Ellen Wagner, 88, of Palmyra passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Londonderry Village.
Born September 9, 1932 in Bachmanville, she was the daughter of the late Ammon and Elizabeth (Lehman) Keller. She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Wayne B. Wagner who passed away in September 2020. She was also preceded in death by her brother Lehman Keller.
Mary Ellen retired from Food Services at Palmyra High School. As a member of Gravel Hill United Methodist Church she faithfully served as a kindergarten teacher for over 25 years, helped with bible school, bazaars and many other church activities. As a homemaker Mary Ellen specialized in canning, freezing, baking and sewing. Her favorite times were spent with her family and especially her grandsons.
Surviving are her daughters Wendy Yiengst (Barry), Laurel Wagner (Michael Lahr) and Gwen Campbell (John) all of Palmyra; brothers Charles Keller and Marlin Keller both of Elizabethtown; and grandsons Brayden and Conner Campbell.
A memorial service will be held for both Mary Ellen and Wayne at 10:00 AM Friday, July 9, 2021 at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra preceded by a visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
