Marna L. "Chick" (Spitler) Forry

Marna L. “Chick” Forry, 77, of Palmyra passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025.

Born September 15, 1947 in Fredericksburg, she was a daughter of the late W. Earl and Josephine Mary Elizabeth (Neidich) Spitler.  She was also preceded in death by brothers Richard Spitler, Carl Spitler, Dallas Spitler and sisters Evelyn King, Gladys Lingle and Elesta “Toots” Walborn.

A member of the Northern Lebanon Class of ’65 and St. John’s Lutheran Church, Fredericksburg, Chick was formerly a secretary for Horsemen Benevolent and Protective Association and later office manager for Valley Pools.  She enjoyed the beach, traveling, and was an avid reader, but most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her husband, daughter and grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of 47 years David S. Forry; daughter Angela D. Crawford (Sam) of Huntersville, North Carolina; stepdaughter Carrie E. Roush of Savannah, Georgia;  sisters Bonnie Brajkovich and Joyce Kuhn; and grandchildren Colin, Alexa, Caroline, Wyatt, Trista, and Nicholas.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 13, 2025 in the DiMatteo Worship Center at Londonderry Village, 1200 Grubb Road, Palmyra preceded by a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.  Private interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg.
