Marlin G. Fureman, 86, of Palmyra passed away Friday, June 13, 2025 in his home.
Born June 26, 1938 in Annville, he was a son of the late Marlin L. Fureman and Mildred M. (Gingrich) Fureman Early and was also preceded in death by an infant son.
Retired in 1996 from the Office of Mental Health and Mental Retardation for the State of Pennsylvania, he previously taught in the Annville School District. Marlin was a U. S. Air Force veteran and received his Master’s degree from Millersville University. He coached Football and Track and Field in various schools in South Central Pennsylvania.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years Eileen A. (Dyer) Fureman; sons Ian Michael Fureman (Barbara Belfiglio Fureman) and Patrick Andrew Fureman (Angie Knepper Fureman); brothers Larry D. Fureman (Maria Gallo Fureman) and Steven A. Fureman; aunt Joy Houser (Roy); grandchildren Regina Alison (Jeff Dellaquila), Jamie Veronica (Joseph Battista), Benjamin Eliot, Katie Lynn, Nathan Eric, Luke Andrew and Kelsie Anne; and great grandchildren Genevieve and Julian Dellaquila and Joey and Jayden Battista.
Interment, with military honors, will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
