Mariella Queipo-Colón, 57, of Palmyra passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
Born July 29, 1968 in Santurce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Jose Queipo and Emilia Ponce De Leon.
Mariella previously served as Director of Trust for Pennsylvania Municipal League and as an insurance agent. A member of Holy Spirit Church, Palmyra, she was a patient and tender woman with an unwavering dedication and close relationship to her children and husband. She enjoyed crafting, knitting, drawing, reading, movies, games on her iPad, attending concerts, and Hispanic music.
Surviving are her husband of 34 years Daniel Colón; daughters Stephany M. Colón (Galen Burkhart) and Lisandra I. Colón both of Harrisburg; sons Daniel E. Colón and Julian F. Colón both of Palmyra; brother Jose Queipo (Yvonne Vega) of Michigan; mother-in-law Alejandrina Colón of Annville; and very close friend Carlos D. Astacio of Annville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 300 West Pine Street, Palmyra with interment in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Viewing 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday at Buse Funeral Home, 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra.
